Morton Fun Run 2012

Greetings runners and welcome to the sixth year of the Morton Fun Run.

Click on the Entry Form button to find a printer friendly entry form for this years event that you can now print off, or, check local sports centres and selected local shops for entry forms over the next couple of weeks.

This years event is to be slightly different than the previous five events; this year there will not be a 6km road race, instead we have decided to have an off-road trail run event.

The Morton Challenge will be roughly a 5km trail run (April 21st: slighlty shorter after accurate measuring, now 4.6km) consisting of two laps of a course around the colliery mound, through colliery wood with a challenging ascent of the mound before the run down to the finish line on each lap. This event is open to all runners aged 12 and over.

The Morton Mile Family Fun Run will be the same as it always has been, a single flat loop around the base of the colliery mound and through colliery wood, open to all the family from 6 and upwards.
